Forplay has been reading about celestial forces and precessions of the equinoxes.
Shawn Lee makes too much music. And it is good.

I wrongly believe that Forplay Sessions need to carry some level of novelty. They don’t. A sesh can be as simple as a collection of 8 tracks that most have never heard of. So here is last night’s instant playlist inspired by New York’s horrendous bout of incessant rain and a batch of Mr. Nice Guy’s latest harvest.
Shameless Plug: Forplay Sessions on the go? There’s an app for that -8tracks.
Forplay’s two for one special.
It’s a wonder why a dj, namely Edward Maya, would not play his one and only publicly recognizable song when laptoping a set in Atlantic City (which by the way is the place that music comes to die). I also wouldn’t have thought that his act warranted a hype crew, but stranger things do happen - like Drake with a record deal.
Seeing as how there wasn’t much in the way of music this weekend, I am quite glad I was able to salvage sunday with this quality find. It seems as though at this stage in the year when everyone else is assessing the year past, I am still discovering…this as well as Chocolate Lucky Charms.

3 weeks, and 50 odd plays, and I am ready to post this tune. The song which features funky sounds of string instruments and electronic samples alike…is a confusing one to say the least - and hence my indecision. It has a sort of Mattson 2 with Ray Barbee feel to it except for the fact that you don’t know what new sound awaits you at the turn of the minute.
In a word, refreshing.
