December’s music rotations tend to fall into three categories - 1) Festive Playlists 2) Recaps - rundowns of the year’s winners and losers and 3) Flash Forwards - predictions for the year to come.
I suppose Forplay would be obliged to follow suit if it were actually a source for current and trending music. It is not.

Perfect Strangers//Magnetic Man ft Katy BIn my twelve day tour d’england I was quickly able to judge that much of the country was jamming to cheese circa 2008 (read: 50 cent, Justin Timberlake, and just for added street cred Jay-Z’s commercialized New York anthem). While this may be a rash judgement on my part, and I am sure it is given that I didn’t step near Plastic People, Ministry of Sound, or any venue producing and hosting real music, I am comfortable returning to the states with just this taste of proper London dubstep tings.
…Well that and sweets from the Ninja Tune XX boxset which will be served in the next post.

While the music selection is mood inspired, the accompanying commentary, which boasts no expertise, aims to identify some of the outstanding features of the tracks (in addition to the seemingly useless and random discussion of anything from pop culture to high-end denim).
